Our Services

Your Energy Survey (YES) was originally formed in 2000 to provide property owners with an independent source of advice about home energy conservation, including those requiring loft or cavity wall insulation. In early 2007 our services were extended to those considering commissioning an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) as part of the HIP (Home Information Pack).* Owner Keith Wardrop subsequently became one of the first to qualify as a Domestic Energy Assessor, gaining accreditation with Northgate and latterly Stroma, two of the foremost Government approved accreditation bodies. Since then Your Energy Survey has gone on to build a working relationship with a network of qualified and accredited Domestic Energy Assessors (DEAs) throughout England and Wales. 

All Domestic Energy Assessors associated with Your Energy Survey are qualified to carry out Energy Performance Certificate surveys, and are fully accredited with one of the Government approved accreditation bodies. In addition they  have all undergone a compulsory Criminal Records Bureau check before being allowed to practice.

* Following Government suspension of the HIP this service has now been withdrawn from YES.

Energy Performance Certificates are still compulsory by law and can be ordered from the DEAs listed in the "Find a DEA" directory.
